Trophy Shipments

Taking trophies home with you is becoming more difficult because of airline restrictions. If a client wishes, we can arrange to have their Elk and / or Bear trophies shipped at the end of the season. Allow up to 6 months for the hide and skull to be prepped and shipped. The taxidermist we use will also be happy to make rugs or mounts as per your instructions.

Trophy Field Preparation

Clients should anticipate having a non-hunting day after an animal is harvested. This allows time for meat retrieval as well as proper trophy processing and care.

Meat

If a client wishes to take some prime cuts home, we can freeze it and pack it with their gear. At night it can be taken to the hotel where the client is staying, and kept frozen until departure. The balance of the meat is taken home and given away.

Please bear in mind that most airlines now have restrictions about handling meat and trophies so be sure to check with your airlines ahead of time.
