Roosevelt Elk Hunts

Vancouver Island is well-known as the premier destination for trophy Roosevelt Elk. It consistently produces Boone & Crockett bulls and is arguably the only location in North America with a pure gene pool of Roosevelt Elk. The Roosevelt Elk hunt runs from October 10 through November 20 and is a 10 day 1x1 hunt. These hunts are both a mental and a physical challenge due to the dense forest habitat in which the Elk live.

The patient and persistent hunter will have the best chance for success. We have a special bow-only section of the guide area reserved for archery hunters.

Roosevelt Elk are beautiful, large-bodied animals with crown-type antler structures similar to that of the European Red Stag. We have a limited number of trophy Roosevelt Elk tags so please call for details on these special permits.

We also hunts for Coastal Black Bears. Contact us for details and to book your Vancouver Island bear or elk hunting trip.
